Infernal Rebirth would fit best in slower, grindy black midrange or control decks—especially in Limited or budget Commander builds—that value card advantage, recursion, and mana consistency, since getting back up to two creatures at instant speed helps in attrition games and basic landcycling smooths early draws or fixes splashes; however, at **3B** it is somewhat inefficient compared to better options like **Soul Salvage** (2B, return two creatures), **Macabre Waltz** (1B, return two creatures, discard one), or even **Grim Discovery** (1B, creature + land), all of which are cheaper and more tempo‑friendly, making them stronger in most constructed formats. The landcycling does add flexibility and reduces the risk of it being dead in hand, which is valuable in Limited, but overall it is likely too slow for competitive Constructed play and would mainly see play in Draft/Sealed or very synergy‑driven graveyard decks that specifically want instant speed and redundancy.
