A deck that focuses on a red-green (Gruul) mana base would benefit from using Game Trail, as it provides flexibility in mana production for both colors. While there may be other dual lands with more versatile abilities, such as Stomping Ground or Wooded Foothills, Game Trail could still see play in decks looking for budget-friendly options or additional consistency in mana fixing.

You may reveal any land card with either or both of the appropriate subtypes. It doesn’t have to be a basic land. For example, you could reveal Canopy Vista from the Battle for Zendikar set to satisfy the ability of Game Trail.
