Dual Nature can be a powerful addition to a deck focused on generating token creatures, such as a Green/White token strategy or a deck that aims to abuse enter-the-battlefield triggers. While it can create a snowball effect of token copies, it also comes with the risk of losing those tokens if the original creature leaves the battlefield. Other cards like Parallel Lives or Anointed Procession may offer more consistent token generation without the drawback of losing tokens when creatures leave the battlefield, making them potentially better options depending on the deck's strategy. However, Dual Nature can still be a fun and impactful card to include in the right deck that can take advantage of its unique abilities.

The token is not considered to have been kicked, even if the creature it’s a copy of was kicked.

If Dual Nature leaves the battlefield between when it triggers and when a token is put onto the battlefield, that token remains on the battlefield indefinitely. It missed the separate ability which would have exiled the token.
