Crossbow Infantry would fit well in a white weenie or token deck that focuses on swarming the board with low-cost creatures while controlling the battlefield. Its ability to deal damage to attacking or blocking creatures provides a form of removal that can deter opponents from attacking or help clear blockers for your own creatures. However, there are arguably better options for removal or control in white, such as Skyclave Apparition or Flickerwisp, which offer more versatility and board impact. While Crossbow Infantry can see play in specific strategies, it may be outclassed by these more powerful alternatives in competitive formats.
