Auntie’s Sentence would fit best in a black midrange or tempo deck that values flexibility—particularly something like Rakdos Midrange, Orzhov Midrange, or a Pioneer/Modern-style discard shell—because it offers early hand disruption against slower decks while doubling as a small removal spell against aggressive starts. However, it is generally underpowered compared to more efficient and specialized options: **Thoughtseize** and **Inquisition of Kozilek** are far stronger discard spells (hitting any nonland card, not just permanents, and at one mana), while **Fatal Push**, **Cut Down**, or **Disfigure** are more efficient and reliable removal spells. The modal flexibility is nice for Limited or very low-powered environments, but in most competitive Constructed formats this card would likely not see play because each mode is weaker than existing alternatives, and decks usually prefer maximizing efficiency over modest versatility.
