While Vexing Shusher's ability to make spells uncounterable is valuable, there are better options like Cavern of Souls or Boseiju, Who Shelters All, which provide broader protection for all creature or noncreature spells, respectively. Whether Vexing Shusher should see play depends on the specific strategy and meta of the deck, but it can be a powerful tool in the right context.

A spell or ability that counters spells can still target spells that can’t be countered. When that spell or ability resolves, the uncounterable spell won’t be countered, but any additional effects of the countering spell or ability will still happen.
