While Tasha's Hideous Laughter can be effective in certain matchups, there are better options available such as Mind Funeral or Mind Grind, which can mill a larger portion of the opponent's library. However, Tasha's Hideous Laughter could still see play in specific metagames where exiling cards from the opponent's library is more beneficial than milling them.
