This card, Survive the Night, would be beneficial in a white weenie or aggro deck in Magic: the Gathering, providing both a temporary boost and protection for a key creature while also generating card advantage through the Investigate mechanic. While it can be a useful combat trick, there are potentially better options available such as Brave the Elements for protection or other combat tricks like Gods Willing. Whether Survive the Night sees play would depend on the specific strategy and synergies of the deck it is included in.

If you sacrifice a Clue for another card’s cost or effect, such as that of Angelic Purge or Tamiyo’s Journal, you can’t also pay and sacrifice it to draw a card.
