A deck focused on Sliver tribal synergy would benefit from including Spitting Sliver, as it enhances the combat abilities of all Sliver creatures with first strike. However, there are better Sliver cards available, such as Crystalline Sliver which provides all Sliver creatures with shroud, offering protection from targeted spells and abilities. Whether Spitting Sliver should see play depends on the specific strategy and synergy of the Sliver deck, as well as the overall power level of the format in which it is being played.

Abilities that Slivers grant, as well as power/toughness boosts, are cumulative. However, for some abilities, like flying, having more than one instance of the ability doesn’t provide any additional benefit.
