Shadowblood Ridge would benefit a deck that requires both black and red mana, such as Rakdos or Jund decks in Magic: the Gathering. While it provides flexibility in mana production, there are better options like Blood Crypt or Overgrown Tomb that come into play untapped and have the potential to produce both colors of mana without the need to tap for an additional cost. Shadowblood Ridge may see play in budget decks or in niche strategies that need the specific mana production it offers, but in most cases, more efficient dual lands would be preferred.
