A deck that focuses on artifact synergy, such as an artifact ramp or artifact token deck, would benefit from using Powerstone Shard to generate additional mana. However, there are better cards for ramping in most cases, such as Sol Ring or Mana Crypt, which provide more immediate and reliable mana acceleration. While Powerstone Shard can be useful in specific artifact-heavy decks, it may not see widespread play due to the availability of more powerful ramp options in the format.
