A deck that focuses on graveyard recursion or has ways to benefit from discarding cards would benefit from including Gamble in their strategy. However, there are better cards like Entomb or Vampiric Tutor that offer more consistent card selection without the downside of discarding at random. Gamble could see play in decks that are looking for redundancy in their card search effects or want to take advantage of the randomness for a potential high-risk, high-reward playstyle.

You put the card into your hand and discard a card at random all while Gamble is resolving. Nothing can happen between the two, and no player may choose to take actions.
