Elven Riders would be a strong addition to a green aggro deck that aims to quickly overwhelm the opponent with creature damage. Its evasion ability makes it difficult to block, putting pressure on the opponent's defenses. However, there are better options available in the current Magic: the Gathering card pool, such as Leatherback Baloth, which offers a bigger body for the same cost and is easier to cast. Elven Riders may struggle to find a place in competitive play due to its limited impact compared to other options.

Creatures with the Reach ability (such as Giant Spider) don’t actually have Flying, so they can’t block this.
