A deck focused on disrupting opponents' strategies and controlling the board would benefit from including Renounce the Guilds. While it can be effective in certain situations, there are more versatile options like Anguished Unmaking or Vindicate that offer broader removal capabilities. Renounce the Guilds could see play in sideboards of decks facing heavy multicolored permanent threats, but its narrow focus may limit its overall utility in most decks.

The active player (the player whose turn it is) chooses which multicolored permanent will be sacrificed, then each other player in turn order does the same. Then all chosen permanents are sacrificed at the same time.
