Moon-Eating Dog would fit well in a control or tempo deck that features Yanling planeswalkers, as it can leverage its flying ability to evade ground-based blockers and apply pressure while controlling the board. A deck that combines blue spells for card draw and disruption, alongside Yanling planeswalkers for added synergy, would benefit from this creature. However, there are arguably stronger options, such as Stormwing Entity, which offers a similar flying ability but also has a lower mana cost and benefits from a spell-slinging strategy. While Moon-Eating Dog can see play in a niche build, it may not be the optimal choice compared to more efficient flying creatures available in the current meta.
