Maelstrom Colossus would be a great addition to a deck that focuses on casting high-cost spells and taking advantage of the cascade ability to potentially cast additional spells for free. While it can provide a powerful advantage in the right deck, there are other cards like Maelstrom Wanderer that offer similar effects with additional benefits, making them potentially better choices for certain strategies. However, Maelstrom Colossus could still see play in decks looking to maximize cascade triggers and capitalize on its potential for explosive plays.
