A deck focused on artifacts, such as an artifact-based control or combo deck, would benefit from including Buried Ruin as it provides utility by returning key artifact cards from the graveyard to hand. While there may be better options like Academy Ruins which can return artifacts directly to the battlefield, Buried Ruin still has its place in decks looking for additional recursion options and could see play as a budget-friendly alternative or as additional redundancy in artifact-heavy strategies.
